Description

Tasks fail if a CAS server is replaced by a new server even though the new server has the same name and IP address
Cause

MessageStats needs to refresh the task document and regather the Organizational Structure
Résolution
1. Open the MessageStats console
2. Expand Exchange Organizations
3. Right click your Organization name and select Properties
4. Select the Connection Server tab
5. Remove the last character from the Exchange server name and then add it back
6. Click Validate
7. If there are no errors click OK
8. Right click your Organization name again and select Regather Structure
9. Test by running a gathering task
