vRanger backup immediately fails with the error "failed to acquire the shared resources"
ESX server (not ESXi)
password for the account(s) used to credential the ESX servers and/or repositories was changed
To change the password for the account(s) used to credential the ESX server:
1. In the My Inventory screen, right click on the ESX server and choose 'Credential Properties'
2. Enter the new password(s)
3. Click the 'Connect' button to authenticate
To change the password for the account(s) used to credential the repositories:
1. In the My Repositories screen, right click on the repository name and choose 'Properties'
2. Enter the new password
3. Click the 'Update' button to connect....the Free Space field should state the available space instead of 'unknown'
