This is a high-level overview of how the NetVault Exchange APM plugin works with the Quest Recovery Manager for Exchange.
The Recovery Manager for Exchange software should be installed on a non-Exchange machine. Then on that machine, you install the Exchange tools, which it then uses to "emulate" an Exchange server for Recovery Manager.
On that same non-Exchange machine, you would need to install the NetVault Exchange APM plugin, so that the data can be restored via the plugin via to the emulated Exchange instance.
Please note: This machine's Exchange plugin *would* require a permanent license once the initial 45-day trial expired.
Then once the data has been restored to the Exchange emulation, Recovery Manager would then allow you to choose the individual Exchange Mailboxes and allow you to work with them as you wish at that point.
