When attempting a backup of any VM, the backup fails with Error Message: "Failed to create snapshot. Task failed to be created"
However, when the Virtual Center was removed, and backups were done at a host level, they completed successfully.
The cause of this is that the user that was used to credential Virtual Center in vRanger was not a member of the Administrator role in Virtual Center.
Once the user was added to the Administrator role, backups commenced and completed successfully.
