Doing disk-to-tape backups (phase 2), where copying data from disk to tape, is going very slowly. SmartDisk is locate is located on its own server and not on the NetVault backup server. Network is comprised of teamed network interface cards between the NetVault Backup server and SmartDisk. There are no issues with phase one, backup to SmartDisk.
Since phase one of the backup are running fine, verify that the teamed NIC's are set up correctly and check Network switches to make sure that they are properly teamed.
