Error:

“Import operation is running in the background , you will be notified by an email once it is done”. This message appears when user(s) tries to upload Business Glossary template with filled in information in the tool and still the changes are not updated under the Business Terms catalog folder

Symptoms:

When user tries to upload the business glossary template with filled in information in the tool, it is not getting uploaded and is showing the below message.

After clicking on the icon, still the changes are not reflected across the Business Terms listing

Resolution:

 To resolve this issue and update the Business Terms into the catalog(s) folder, check the excel spreadsheet which has the template and check if it matches the template with the Business Glossary module.

• Checked the excel spreadsheet with the initial template and it's reflecting these headers

When checked the template and there was no "PATH" defined where the terms should be uploaded. This property is mandatory for the import to succeed.

• Update the PATH where terms should be uploaded and it will work and reflect across the catalog folder

 After importing the spreadsheet, those Business Terms got successfully uploaded and reflected across the Business Terms list
