AD agent fails against Windows 2008 R2 Domain Controller with firewall enabled -
Description
On Windows 2008 R2 Domain Controller with firewall and rules are enabled to allow traffic between Domain Controller and Foglight management server. AD agent does not work and the following message is shown in the log
"Cannot contact DC using the name or IP address"

Cause
By default the Simple TCP/IP Service is not installed on Windows 2008 R2 systems

Resolution
To enable the AD agent to collect data from the DC (W2k8 R2 with the firewall) it is necessary to install and start Simple TCP/IP Service .
It can be done via "Add features" wizard.
