The FTR agent gave an alert saying:
"Internet Settings[0x80040007] - Uninitialized object Web cache directory not set. Skipping cache management".
What is the problem and how can I correct that ?
POSSIBLE CAUSE 1
You are not running the script as 'Play Scripts as User'. You have that set it to "False"
POSSIBLE CAUSE 2
The script cannot temporarily change the directory used for cache. It is possible that the folder has permissions problems and is not accessible.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 3
Insufficient resources. Too many FTR scripts being run on that one playback machine
POSSIBLE CAUSE 4
Using IE 10
RESOLUTION TO CAUSE 1
1. clear those alarms from your FMS
2. edit your FTR agent properties so that the 'Play Scripts as User" is "True".
3. give it the appropriate 'User Name', 'Password', and 'Domain' for the machine upon which that script was recorded.
RESOLUTION TO CAUSE 2
You need to remove the folders that are used for the cache space:
1. Stop the FTR agent
2. Delete all of the temporary folders. These are located in the windows temp directory, "C:WINDOWSTempFTR Temporary Internet Files"
3. restart the FTR agent
RESOLUTION TO CAUSE 3
Move/offload some FTR scripts out to another Playback machine
RESOLUTION TO CAUSE 4
IE 10 is not currently supported, downgrade to a supported version such as IE 9.
Another way to resolve this problem, if you are just using default values in the internet settings instruction, is by disabling internet settings on the script.
