Cause
Release Notes for the individual cartridges don't list the specific version of the Database Server in the Supported Platforms list. -
Resolution
Starting on Foglight for Databases 6.3.0.x, the Deployment Guides was updated to list Supported Monitored Databases with an open ended statement.
If the deployed Database Cartridge is the latest version available for download, any new version of that Database Server (assuming it's supported by its publisher) can be considered supported for monitoring even if it's not specifically listed in the Release Notes.
For example, Oracle 23c is not yet specifically listed as supported in the Foglight for Oracle cartridge 6.3.x Release Notes but can be considered as supported.
