Foglight Management Server (FMS) starts but cannot log in to the console - the following error message is displayed:
"Http status 404".
The first errors to show up in the log file $FMS_HOME/logs/ManagementServer<CurrentDateTime>.log are related to the database cartridges (Oracle, SQL).
Here is example:
2011-06-29 14:13:29.464 ERROR [Utility-1-thread-1] com.quest.nitro.service.topology.provider.wcfsdo.TopologyProviderImpl - Failed to convert value persisted for property DBWC_AdminEpisode_DBSS.connectionDetails to the DBWC_Admin_connectionDetails type.
Theory on this is that there were a number of previous versions of the database cartridges and there could have been two versions trying to start at startup which was causing problems.
Please be aware that disabling and re-enabling the DBSS and DBO Cartridges from cartridge inventory will remove created Services from the SOC and also remove created Services and Group from the Database dashboards. Refrain from using this troubleshooting method if groups and services have been created.
