One way to do this is look at a dev/test Foglight environment that still has the variable and its default settings. If need be, contact Quest Technical Support who can look at a lab server and provide this information for you as we have done below...
We will use the regvar "BufferPoolRatioCritical" variable as an example which comes from the DB2 Cartridge.
Admin Console | Administration | Rules & Notifications | Manage Registry Variables | Add Variable:
Registry Variable Name: BufferPoolRatioCritical
Description/Comments: this is a re-created BufferPoolRatioCritical because it was accidentally deleted
Registry Value Type: Integer
Edit Registry Variable...
Global Default: 70 (Static Value)
Another option, if there is a large amount of resorations, you could also reload the associated cartridge to "recreate" rules, variables, views, dashboards, roles that have been inadvertantly removed or changed, however we cannot guarantee that in every cartridge, existing modifications to the cartrdige's other rules, regvars, ect. would not be overwritten:
Admin Console | Administration | Cartridges | Cartridge Inventory | Browse for .car file - find the CartridgeName.car file - if you don't have it, download it from SupportLink
http://support.quest.com You may need to disable/re-enable the cart in Cartridge Invetory after you have reloaded it in.
