Flood of credential alarms in Foglight console -
Description
A large number of credential alarms are being received from the Oracle agent. The agent has been configured correctly for the Oracle and operating system monitoring but the alarms are still being received.Reviewing the agent logs, the following errors are seen:asSysDBA=false, ports='1521', properties={oracle.jdbc.ReadTimeout=900000}}]java.sql.SQLException: Listener refused the connection with the following error:ORA-12518, TNS:listener could not hand off client connection -
Resolution
Please increase the Oracle processes parameter. Afterwards the credential alerts should no longer appear.
