Service Builder - WebMonitor agents not shown in Web Tier -
Description
We noticed the Web Tier objects is empty. We want to have the webmonitor agent displayed when a Web object tier is selected so it can be added to a service component.
What query definition do we have to setup so that web tier objects will select WebMonitor agents? -
Cause
The WebMonitor agents are part of the O/S type of cartridge agents and as such, that is their 'type' definition.

Resolution
The solution is to add an Object Group which includes your WebMonitor agents in the Web Tier.

1)Web Console | Services | Object Group.
2) Select the Web Tier radio button, then in the bottom pane, click the + button to add your new sub-group.
3) Then provide a name & the query.
Query = /WebMonitorAgent/4) Click Test
5) Click Create.
As data is collected, the Service Levels dashboard will indicates the Web Agents.Documentation in regards to the query definition:The query syntax is:
/<type name regex>/:’<cartridge name>’
In this case the type name is “WebMonitorAgent” and the cartridge name is “OS-WebMonitor”.
It is then possible to skip the cartridge name restriction and just configure the service subgroup with type name:
/WebMonitorAgent/Some other examples:Lists all agents
/Agent/,//Lists all except Windows_SystemAgents
/Agent/,!/Windows_SystemAgent/List DBO Instance Agents
