User password failing to change successfully
Description

Every few months the password expires forcing me to change it. Typically I then change the password to something else then change it back to the same password I need it to be. However now it is telling me I have used that password before and I can't use it again.
Cause

The issue surfaced after a recent upgrade to Foglight 5.6.5
Resolution

The "Number of old passwords to remember" defaulted to 12 after the Foglight upgrade. Customer had this set to 0 in order to use previous passwords. Changing the value from 12 to 0 resolved the issue.

Dashboards | Administration | User & Security Management | Configure Password Settings | Number of old passwords that will be remembered
