It is currently not possible to see data for NSS logical disks running on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server & Novell Open Enterprise Server (various versions). When looking within the Storage tab of these VMs (VMware Environment | vmExplorer) it is not possible to see NSS volumes and therefore cannot receive alerts about these volumes.
For the VMs that are not showing this information, please check the MOB (managed object browser) on the VC (Virtual Center) and verify if those drives are included where the list of logical drives for a VM is retrieved. Here is an example URL:
https://VC_NAME_OR_IP/mob/?moid=vm-MOR&doPath=guest.disk
NOTE: Replace "VC_NAME_OR_IP" with what is relevant to your environment, along with the VM's MOR (managed object reference) by replacing "vm-MOR". When prompted you will need to login with valid credentials for the VC.
Only the drives in this list, will be found in Foglight as logical drives. If the drives are still not listed within the MOB, investigation will need to be carried out with the official VMware Support team to determine why these drives are not being listed in the MOB.
