STATUS:
This has been raised as Foglight for VMware cartridge/agent product defect VM-3547 and will be addressed in a future release of the Foglight for VMware cartridge/agent.
WORKAROUND:
Currently the workaround is to restart (deactivate and activate) the VMware agent, which will "refresh" the agent and enable Foglight to display the correct power status of a VM. Please note that this is a very low occuring issue and is not always observed.
