I have a new environment that is running Weblogic that I need to instrument with Java agent.
The complication is that the single server is running four instances of the app server, split across two domains.
For dashboard purposes, I want to set the AgentName and WeblogicDomainID properties of the JavaEEDeploymentManager agent, but how do I accomplish this when there are four sets of values and only one agent?
These weblogic servers are manged my node manger, so there is just the single instance of the StartNodeManager script to modify
Cannot edit domainID field in JavaEE Deployment Manager properties since there is only one domain that can be specified
In the WebLogic Server Administration console, select the managed server you want to change the agent name and weblogic domain ID. Then select the "Configuration" > "Server Start" tab. In the Arguments section, specify the agent name and WebLogic domain ID like this:
-Dquest.config.agent.agentname=MyMgtSvr -Dquest.config.agent.weblogicdomainid=MyTestDomain
