WMI performance counter issues in Windows Server 2008 -
Description
WMI issues such as the following are being experienced when collecting Operating System data from Windows servers:
- WMI is reporting incorrect data from the performance classes.
- Operating System validation or collections error out, even though the OS credentials are correct
- Remotely accessing WMI causes memory leaks in Windows
- WMI reports as unstable
- Perfmon counters will not show under WMI as they do not exist
