No Data displayed on the MQ dashboard

There is no MQ data displayed on the MQ Queue Manager dashboard. Lot of below errors were observed in the MQ OOP (out of process) Agent Manager (FglAM) logs

xxxx-xx-xx xx:xx:xx.xxx WARN    [Thread-26] com.quest.glue.core.util.StdErrOutputStream - [STDERR] MQJE001: Completion Code '2', Reason '2017'.

Error code 2017, based on IBM knowledge center portal, indicates the maximum number of open handles allowed for the current task has already been reached. By default the Queue Manager property MaxHands is assigned with a value of 256. This issue is experienced when [all] the MQ Agent Status Properties (ASP) uses the default queue list and the default channel list or monitors a huge number of queues.

Please follow the below workaround:

1. Navigate to Administration | Agents | Agent Status dashboard
2. Select the MQ agent, click Edit | Edit Properties and click "Modify the private properties for this agent." link
3. Scroll down to Monitor Lists
4. Delete the queue lists from defaultQueueList option.
   • From the drop down select defaultQueueList and click Edit button next to it
   • Select all the Queue Name and click Delete Selected Row(s)
   • Ensure the defaultQueueList is empty
   • Click Save Changes and go back to ASP dashboard
5. Ensure defaultQueueList is selected in the drop down and click Clone button
6. Name your own queue list
7. Assign the cloned queue list in the drop down
8. Follow the same procedure for the defaultChannelList option
9. Save the ASP changes and go back to Agent Status dashboard
10. Restart the MQ agent. Monitor the MQ data collection on the MQ dashboard.

Please note: If there is only one MQ agent with too many Queue lists, please increase the MaxHands parameter value to 1024 and restart the queue manager and the MQ agent.
