Sniffer collecting data but not relaying data to Archiver in Virtual Environment

The appliance health status shows that it is fine and sniffer is capturing data but the relayer count is 0. As a result, there is zero sessions/hits captured in the archiver. This setup is in Virtual Environment.

VCenter automatically shift the web server running on a heavily loaded ESX server1 to a less loaded ESX server2 as this is controlled by DRS (Distributed Resource Scheduler) in VM's. . But APM sniffer and archiver is still running on ESX server1. But when the web server is shifted back to the ESX server1,  the relayer count start to increase and we start getting session/hits from the archiver.

 

APM Sniffer and Archivers needs a static ip to connect to the webservers to collect and relay data. When Webserver was moved to a different ESX Server, there was a data interruption between Sniffer and Archiver. You can look into the  affinity rules and anti-affinity rules in VM, which will actually help to move a group of VM's as a cluster (Webserver, Sniffer and Archiver) and there should not be a data loss.
