Kubernetes agent uses Heapster RESTful API to collect metrics. If the Container node is a VM (VMware or Azure or AWS) then in the Container Environment dashboard there is also a dependency built into UI from container agent collected node to other cartridge agent collected infrastructure host. For example, if Container node is a VMware VM then the VMware agent also collects metrics for this VM. Thenin the Node summary UI, there is a button to explore to VMware Virtual Machine.
The issue is that Container Environment dashboard currently displays the metrics (CPU/Mem/Network/Disk) collected by other cartridge agent (in this example VMware agent) however the Rules from Container Management cartridge analyze the data collected by Container (Kubernetes/Docker) agent and triggers alarm based on this. This cause confusion because the value in the alarm may not match with the one displayed in the UI.
Defect FCON-885 has been fixed in Container Management cartridge version 3.0.0
