Can I disable / enable Rule Notification destination based on severity
In general you DO need go though each rules to disable unwanted severity and email action.
The only exceptions are the SQL Server and Oracle cartridge. With these you have the option to disable the following registry variables to false
DBO-EmailNotification_Critical
DBO-EmailNotification_Fatal
DBSS- EmailNotification_Critical
DBSS-EmailNotification_Fatal
