Description
Physical Disk data is not gathered on Linux hosts monitored locally by the V5.6.7 IC UnixAgent. The Physical Disk metrics are not being collected but the Logical Disk metrics are being gathered.
The entries recommended in the Infrastructure User and Reference guide for a Linux host have been added to the sudoers file.

Cause
Defect IC-1478(Linux data collector incorrectly identifies HP Smart Array physical disk as a logical disk).

Resolution
Status: Waiting for fix in a future release of the Foglight Infrastructure cartridge.
Workaround: None.

Additional Information
cciss is the HP Smart Array block driver. The physical disk of an HP Smart Array uses a name format "cciss/c0d0". Please refer to the “Resolved Issues” section of the Product Release Notes when new releases are available to identify if a fix for this defect has been implemented.
