Active Directory agent not collecting data and agent log shows DCOM 0x00000005 access denied error.

Error message:
ERROR [Quartz[0]-165] com.quest.agent.service.auth.impl.WMIValidator - Credential WMI connectivity test failed- Error message: java.lang.Exception: org.jinterop.dcom.common.JIException: Access is denied, please check whether the [domain-username-password] are correct. Also, if not already done please check the GETTING STARTED and FAQ sections in readme.htm. They provide information on how to correctly configure the Windows machine for DCOM access, so as to avoid such exceptions.  [0x00000005]

com.quest.glue.api.services.NoCredentialsException: Could not establish a connection to host : xxx.xxx.xxx

Windows registry keys and firewall ports prerequisite conditions have not been setup for the Exchange agent to connect to the target domain controller.

1. Go to the Active Directory | Active Directory Environment dashboard.
2. Click the "Script for configuring the Active Directory settings" link to download the automation scripts.
3. Run the PowerShell scripts on the target domain controller to grant related registry keys and firewall ports for the Active Directory agent to query WMI repository.
