Description
An alarm is raised in Foglight which says
"VirtualCenter Agent::FaultException : Failed to retrieve events data from the collector : Database temporarily unavailable or has network problems. Make sure the agent collector service is running This rule converts agent messages to Foglight alerts."

Cause
The VMWare connector agent cannot connect to the FMS. In the connector log error similar to:
VirtualESXAgent.DataEnvelope - Failed to send
VMW:VMWMetrics to http://<FMS IP address and port>/foglight-xml-adapter/tree-data with Error : ConnectFailure Unable to connect to the remote server

Resolution
Two possible causes to this issue:
- The FMS was restarted
- There was a network outage between the host where the VMWare agent is deployed and the FMS host
