What does the Foglight Agent Manager (FglAM) adapter do? How does it work?
The FglAM adapter is the server-side component the FglAMs talk to.
It is the pipeline for requests to deploy packages, create agents, push agent property values from the Foglight Management Server (FMS) to the agent manager.
It receives the data collected by the agents and send to it by the agent managers (the agents "talk" to the agent manager and the agent manager handles the communication to the FMS).
The FglAM passes the metric data to the CDT so that they can be converted into their "canonical form" (i.e. from whatever form they came in into the metrics associated with objects in the object model).
