VMware Processes dashboard prompts to 'Add monitoring' when a WindowsAgent has been configured (4210732)

The Processes tab, within the VMware Explorer dashboard for a VCenter, does not display any data despite the creation of a WindowsAgent (provided by the Infrastructure cartridge) using the "Add Monitoring" from within the Processes tab.

Two host names have been configured for a single host in the DNS. When a Windows/UnixAgent is created, a topology object for the hostname is created. When the second host name is used in the Agent properties/configuration, although it creates a new topology object, the data is pushed to the earlier created topology object. This data does not merge with the VMware Explorer | Processes dashboard when a VM uses the second host name.

Implement the following suggestions in order to help to resolve this issue:

Navigate to Agent status dashboard | Select the Agent | Edit Properties | Modify properties for this Agent

1. Provide a "Host name override" parameter for the WindowsAgent in the agent properties with the name which correlates with the VMware topology object. Preferable the host name itself or host name under VMware dashboard
2. Disable "Collect System ID" by setting it to false
3. Save the changes
