About this hotfix

This cartridge is NOT compatible with a 5.7.5 or earlier FMS.

This hotfix addresses the issues listed in Resolved issues. This hotfix may receive additional testing. If you are not severely affected by the issues that this hotfix addresses, it is recommended that you install the next full release of Foglight that includes this hotfix.

The following is a list of product versions and platforms compatible with this hotfix.

Installing this hotfix

To install this hotfix:

1. Start the Foglight Management Server.
2. After starting up the Foglight Management Server, run the below command to install the Forge-RestAPI.car file: 
   /bin/fglcmd -cmd cartridge:install -f
3. Restart the Foglight Management Server.

Verifying successful completion

To determine if this hotfix is installed:

1. On the navigation panel, under Dashboards, click Administration > Cartridges > Cartridge Inventory.
2. In the Installed Cartridges tab, click Forge-RestAPI.
3. In the View Cartridge Details dialog box that appears, check the Build ID information. 
   You should find the Build ID information as follows: Build ID: 5.9.0-201711080338-f961de13adda2c40c19d8e4f8542917129eb138d-1.

Removing this hotfix

To remove this hotfix:

1. Uninstall the new Forge-RestAPI cartridge.
2. Enable the old version of the Forge-RestAPI cartridge.
