Description
The following message is reported when searching directly for a group under the "Import External Groups" page when the "scope to search for groups" parameter is set to the root of the LDAP tree."Failed to retrieve groups, please make sure you correctly configured the Directory Services"The directory service used is Active Directory. -
Cause
The error occurs because the "The scope to search for groups" parameter is set to the root of the LDAP tree. -
Resolution
Do not set the value of the "The scope to search for groups" parameter to the root of the LDAP tree.
