We created a deep copy of the Java EE | JBoss | JVM -> Java Virtual Machine [Grid Layout] to a users definition.
Then after making some changes on the deep copy, decided to then delete the copy.
Upon attempting delete, received all-too-familiar message ..has dependencies... Do you want to replace instead?
We chose Replace, using the Java EE/JVM/Java Virtual Machine view.
It created the view in the users definition area, but it created a Forward Reference view instead.
See attached screenshot.
There is no Delete function available. How can this Forward Reference view be deleted?
From the cmd prompt on the Foglight server, export the dashboards associated for the user and supply zip file to Quest Support for resolution.
1) Perform export of dashboards for the targeted user (example user pcm).
WINDOWS:
%FGLHOME%\bin\fglcmd -usr foglight -pwd foglight -cmd util:uiexport -m user:pcm-f DRIVE_LETTER:%FGLHOME%\pcm.zip
UNIX:
$FGLHOME/bin/fglcmd.sh -usr foglight -pwd foglight -cmd util:uiexport -m user:pcm -f $FGLHOME/pcm.zip
2) Create a Support Case and provide exported zip file to Quest Support referencing SOL86659.
3) Perform an import of the edited dashboards zip file saved in $FGLHOME provided by Quest Support:
WINDOWS:
%FGLHOME%\bin\fglcmd -usr foglight -pwd foglight -cmd util:uiimport -f DRIVE_LETTER:%FGLHOME%\pcm_new.zip
UNIX:
$FGLHOME/bin/fglcmd.sh -usr foglight -pwd foglight -cmd util:uiimport -f $FGLHOME/pcm_new.zip
