Is SQL 2008R2 SP2 supported as an FMS backend? The release notes do not mention the service packs -
Resolution
The service packs are not listed separately unless there's a significant change made in one that would break Foglight. Typically this does not occur.
It can be safe to assume that Service Packs are supported where the corresponding main OS release is supported.
