I want a report on CPU used to be generated for a particular VM for 7 days.

Yes, it is possible with custom report.
Please do as below:
Dashboards | Reports | Build a custom report
Use all Data - > Finsih
Expand Vmware -> Expand Virtual Machine
Select Vm ( go for metric view ) -> NextSelect the Used HZ under hostCPU's - >Finish.
Click Run report -> select time range: Last N ( Day - 7 )
Click set ->Click Run.
