VMware agent stops collection after installing Generic SMI-S agent -
Description
After installing Generic SMI-S on an Agent Manager where a Vmware agent is running, it stops Vmware collection.
The following error message can be seeing from Vmware Agent logs:

This is a known defect request in Foglight referenced by Tracking ID VFGLS-3842 -
Resolution
Resolution
Disabling the generic SMI-S agent and restarting FglAM makes it work again.SMI-S agent needs to be running in a separate Agent Manager.Defect request VFGLS-3842 has been submitted to Development for a fix in a future release. Please check the release notes of latest software to determine which bug fixes have been included in this release.The latest version of Foglight can be downloaded at: -
