Foglight is getting slow and the performance is very bad.
While reviewing the Performance Report of the Foglight Management Server (FMS) the codecache is maxed out.
Default Code cache is 256.
There maybe some recently added monitoring components that uses more codecache that expected.
The JVM maintains a Java code cache from which native code can be generated. In a large environment running a number of cartridges, this code cache may approach its maximum. If the code cache is filling up, this results in a decreasing compilation time delta JVM metric.A good example is when there is slow dashboard display and the following issues were already checked and fixed but the slow dashboard remains:
Note: Please check Codecache graphics to determine if that is the issue.
Increase the codecache on the $FMS/config/server.config file.
server.vm.optionX = "-XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize=320m";
(where optionX is first available option number)
Restart the FMS software to invoke the change.
Use the Performance Overview dashboard (Foglight | Diagnostic | Performance) to check the status of the code cache.
