There are a some processes that are not picked up by UnixAgentPlus (formerly DellUnixAgent), other processes are being collected successfully.
Process is present when listing current processes with either of these commands:
ps -ef
ps aux
Most likely cause is that agent properties are not set correctly.
ps -ef and ps aux shows the command (aka: display name) of the process and not the actual executable filename, which is what the agent picks up.
To get the actual process name picked up by the agent, use this command instead:
ps -e -o pid,user,comm,command
This information can be obtained (if the PID number is known) by these commands as well:
cat /proc/pid_number/comm
cat /proc/pid_number/cmdline
Make sure agent properties are set correctly.
To collect all processes check the following agent properties:
This last option would not affect the "Process Availability" rule, but it would prevent omitted processes from being detected.
