What is the difference between the following two SQL Server alarms
DBSS - OS Cluster - Node is Offline
DBSS - Node Unavailable
Alarm Message: Node Unavailable. At least one cluster node is unavailable.
The "DBSS - OS Cluster - Node is Offline" alarm fires when the member_state value is 0.
The member_state value is described in the Microsoft documentation here.
The "DBSS - Node Unavailable" alarm should fire when at least one node is down based on the result from select Name, State from MSCluster_Node (i.e. one of the node states is returned as a 1).
