In vFoglight Storage, one of my Brocade Fabrics is not being displayed on the User Interface. I have verified it is collecting in the Brocade SMIs manager (SOL66661).
The description of the port can have characters that cause problem with the Brocade Fabric. Currently only the “” has been seen to cause this problem. You may try naming the port to a simple alpha-numeric string to test this defect and as a workaround.
This is a known defect in vFoglight Storage caused by a bug referenced by Quest Tracking ID 1154.
Workaround:
Rename the port to a simple alpha-numeric string to test this defect and as a workaround. Search for a string that has Quotes or Unique characters to find the problem port.
Defect request 1154 has been submitted to Development for a fix in a future release. Please check the release notes of latest software to determine which bug fixes have been included in this release.
