In vFoglight Storage, I receive error messages when I run a support bundle from the help menu.
I receive 3 error messages.
1) “Could not create archive for support”
2) “Unable to create support bundle adding to zip file failure, description file”
3) “File not found c:\Users\administrator\AppData\Roaming\Quest\UILogs_201111151217_Administrator_MIKE-VFS-2008x6.zip”
4) “Error creating or sending support bundle”
This is a known defect in vFoglight Storage caused by a bug referenced by Quest Tracking ID 1153.
Workaround:
Run a support bundle from the Windows program group.
Open Start | All Programs | Quest | vFoglight-Storage | vFoglight Storage Maintenance
Select the Backup Tab
Select Start Backup (this will take some time)
Add all the PgLogs, Click OK
Defect request 1159 has been submitted to Development for a fix in a future release. Please check the release notes of latest software to determine which bug fixes have been included in this release.
