When I look at the vCenter Latency numbers and compare it to the Latency numbers in vFoglight Storage they do not match.
This is a known issue and an enhancement request in vFoglight Storage has been created and referenced by Quest Tracking ID 1111.
vFoglight Storage is reporting on the latency per operation. It is not the total Latency, but the average latency for all the operations performed. vCenter is reporting on total latency in the timeframe monitored.
If you take the latency reported by vFoglight Storage, and multiply it times the number of IOPs per second, this will give you the total latency per second. Multiple this time the number of seconds in your sampling in vCenter and the numbers will match.
