Loading the "Manage SQL PI Repositories" page takes a long time -
Description
In the Foglight for Database v5.9.7.10 cartridge, the dashboard "Manage SQL PI Repositories" sometimes takes long to load, and FMS console might hang when it exceeds 1 minute -
Cause
Foglight currently retrieves Agent Status Properties from the FMS repository to get the PI agents information in the "Manage SQL PI Repository" page. The Agent Status Properties table will not be purged periodically.
If the FMS has been running for a long time and agent status properties have been changed many times, the size of agent status property table will grow to a significant size. This will cause query to take a long time.
When there are a lot of agents, the page request may get timeout and cause the page to be stuck.

Resolution
WORKAROUND
1. Log on to the host where the Foglight FMS is installed, and copy dbwc_spi20repository_installer_apis.zip (attached below) to a folder on the host, e.g c:\temp
2. Run the following command to backup the affected WCF module to somewhere in the host. (e.g. c:\tempbak)
{FMS_HOME}\bin\fglcmd.exe -srv -port -usr -pwd -cmd util:uiexport -m system:dbwc_spi20repository_installer_apis -f c:\tempbak\dbwc_spi20repository_installer_apis_bak.zip
3. Run the following command to import the hotfix file to Foglight.
{FMS_HOME}\bin\fglcmd.exe -srv -port -usr -pwd -cmd util:uiimport -f c:\temp\dbwc_spi20repository_installer_apis.zipNote: ensure that the user has administrator permission on the foglight server
STATUS
This issue has been logged as defect FOM-893 and has been fixed in the 5.9.7.20 and higher releases of the Foglight SQL Server and Oracle cartridges.
