How does FxM calculate Baselines (92109)

How are Baselines calculated in FxM?

ANSWER:

There is only one "set" of baseline hourly metrics. .

It may be a little misleading especially when you look at a table view. The baseline values are simply for reference to the primary metric that you're displaying.

So, for the hourly baseline there are only 24 values in the database. They are for 0:00, 1:00, 2:00, ... 23:00.

So for example, there's not a different hourly baseline for May 1 7:00 and May 2 7:00.

Similarly, there are only 7 daily baseline metrics. Monday, Tuesday, ..., Sunday.

So for each monitored object (Server, Application, etc.), that object has the following baseline metrics:

* 24 hourly baselines
* 7 daily baselines
* 1 weekly baseline
* 1 monthly baseline

We don't track historical values for baselines
