SpotlightStatisticsRepository database grew very large. Where and how I can control how much data is stored there ?
Here are steps to purge data in the Spotlight Statistics Repository.
1. Open Spotlight
2. Click Config menu button
3. Click Scheduling button
4. Choose a metric for which you would like to decrease data storing time ('Keep for' field)
5. Enable Override the default settings for the procedure option and set value you would like
6. Repeat steps 4-5 for all the metrics you like (ie decrease storing time for all the data kept for 365 days)
7. press Ok button
The Diagnostic Server purges Spotlight Statistic Repository data once a day, therefore allow 24 hours before seeing the size of the database reduce.
