How to install Recovery Manager for AD (4249411)

To install Recovery Manager for AD (RMAD) using the SQL Express instance installed by the product:

1. Extract the contents of the RMAD installation package
2. Open the folder where you extracted the installation package
3. Double click Autorun.exe
4. Complete the rest of the installation wizard

To install RMAD using a standalone SQL server:

1. Extract the contents of the RMAD installation package
2. Open the folder where you extracted the installation package
3. Double click Autorun.exe
4. Step through the wizard until you get to the Choose Setup Type page
5. Select Custom and click Next
6. Step through the wizard until you get to the SQL Server Installation Options page
7. Select Do not install SQL Server 2008 Express Edition and click Next
8. Specify the SQL Server name (and instance if necessary)
9. Select the authentication option you want to use and click Next
10. Complete the rest of the installation wizard
