VDDK API reported error VIX_E_DISK_OUTOFRANGE: You have requested access to an area of the virtual disk that is out of bounds -
Causa
This may be caused by a misaligned disk. In examining the MSINFO data from the agent machine, two of the disks have partitions + offset that are larger than the underlying disk. In previous versions, this would have caused the backup to fail. -
Resolución
WORKAROUND:
Either reduce the size of the offending partition(s) or increase the size of the disk (if virtual).WORKAROUND 2:
Create a new base image of the affected volume, if this is a virtual standby delete the virtual standby machine.
