When trying to establish a target connection to the Exchange 2010 environment (either using the full EWS address or Auto Discovery), the following error resulted when testing the connection:
Item Retrieval Test Invalid Mailbox (Unable to retrieve folders) : The request failed. The remote server returned an error: (501) Not Implemented.

Causa
The normal causes for the 501 error are either the administrator password is wrong, or the administrator account being used is not actually an administrator.
There has been problems in the past with firewalls and load-balancers, particularly with ones that do XML deep packet inspection.

Resolución
Microsoft RCA was reporting a 501 error when using POST to get the XML file.
Disabling Kemp LoadMasters fixed the issue, or creating new firewall rules to allow ODME to bypass the Kemp LoadMasters.
