Access the Plugin for Oracle "Configure" dialog as follows:
1- In the Navigation Pane, click Create Backup Job, and click Create New next to the Selections list.
2- In the selection tree, open the applicable client node, and select Plug‑in for Oracle.
3- From the Actions list, select Configure.
Make sure the following fields are filled:
- NetVault Backup Server (required for RMAN Backups, input the NVBU server NetVault name as seen in NVBU Client Management)
- Do Restore from NetVault Backup Server (required for RMAN Backups, input the NVBU server NetVault name as seen in NVBU Client Management)
- Restore Backup taken from NetVault Backup Client (input the Oracle client NetVault name)
- CLI Backup/Autobackup Advanced Options Set (optional should you wish to provide a different backup life for CLI and Autobackups)
- CLI Backup/Autobackup Target Set (required for RMAN Backups to specify where the SPFILE and Controlfile copies must reside)
The above fields are case sensitive.
