When applying an updated Migration Manager for Exchange license, the following error is displayed while it is updating agent hosts:
Cannot access server 'Servername'. None of the changes you have made will be applied to the agents installed on the server.
When a new Migration Manager for Exchange license is applied by the Migration Manager console, it will attempt to apply the updated data to all hosts listed in the Agent Management section of the project.
The Migration Manager legacy mail / calendar sync agents (MSA, MTA, CSA) all use a local Config.ini file to retain their licensing information. However, the Migration Agent for Exchange (MAgE) no longer uses this method of storing licensing information, this data is now stored in the SQL project database.
