To connect Metalogix Archive Manager to an Office 365 account, first you must setup an account which will be used by the software to connect to Office 365. When setting up this account we need the following prerequisites:

1. Open the Metalogix Archive Manager for Exchange Console
2. Open the Address Book Manager from the Tools menu or from the red icon on the toolbar
3. Select the Servers tab in the Address Book Manager window. In the right pane right click, go to Tasks and select Add Server...
4. Select Exchange Online and click Next
5. Enter the credentials for the global administrator account or user with granted rights and click Next
6. Complete the wizard and click Finish, check the "Set Exchange server permission for Metalogix service account" checkbox
Note: If during the wizard you receive an error that the software could not run the get-organizationconfig cmdlet, this indicates the account is not a global administrator or that the user does not have rights granted, or the rights have not propagated in Office 365 yet.
