This may be due to a shell other than csh being used on the Unix/Linux system hosting the Sendmail / Postfix servers to which MessageStats is connecting.
Currently MessageStats Report Pack for Sendmail / Postfix supports only csh.
STATUS
Enhancement Request TF00184825 has been raised for shells other than csh (e.g. bash) to be supported by the MessageStats Report Pack for Sendmail / Postfix.
WORKAROUND
Install csh shell on the system.
