Is it possible to merge multiple Archive Manager databases into a single database?
Example: Two companies merge and each has a separate instance of Archive Manager. Is it possible to merge the data to only have a single instance of Archive Manager to administrator?
Currently this is not possible but it would be advised to speak with your Sales Rep and possibly engage our Professional Services Organization (PSO) to determine how best to handle multiple instances of Archive Manager.
It is indeed possible to continue with multiple instances of Archive Manager without merging them provided that a few conditions are met such as, separate host headers for the websites, separate SQL instances to host the databases, etc. Archive Manager also has the ability to perform Federated Searches to search accross multiple Archive Manager instances from a single website. Again, this would be best addressed by PSO
